The market is running on fumes...Puff...Puff...Puff.
Strong sectors are Retail, anything Energy, and Tech.
But surprisingly the weakest sector happens to be the financials. Hopefully investors have started to realize the smoke and mirrors games these guys played last quarter. Can they pull another rabbit out of the hat? I don't think so. Its not happening, absence of another FASB boon.
General Motors-
Why is this stock trading up today after filing for bankruptcy?
-Could it be that everyone and their mother is short the stock? People are short this stock at much higher levels and will have to cover. Why risk some sort of Obama redux or change of strategy from the government? That's it.
